Welcome

I've been a Realtor for 15 years, and I've found it to be the perfect career for me because I truly love to help people and to make new friends. Real Estate is a great way to make a difference. I'm married and we have five sons, one grandson and one granddaughter. My family has kept me very busy and taught me to be a master at multi-tasking. I'm  a life-long resident of the "All American City" Tuscaloosa. I think one of the best ways to make sure I give the best possible service to my clients is to keep up with Real Estate trends and education and that's why I earned the National designations of Accredited Buyer Representative and the E-Pro, which relate to internet marketing. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, boating on beautiful Lake Tuscaloosa and traveling. I look forward to many more successful years of working with buyers and sellers to help make their real estate experience a positive one.

"Karen Colburn helped me in finding my first home. She worked constantly trying to make sure that I knew as much as possible about the house and had as many options as possible. Karen honestly handled my home buying experience with as much care and work ethic as I would expect from a family member. Every time I would call or have a question she would respond quickly and would always answer my questions whether she had to obtain the information or already knew. I plan to stick with Karen for all of my future home buying/selling needs and I will recommend Karen to as many people as possible."

"Karen was awesome. She helped me find a house at a stressful time in my life and the house I found is home. If you want a Realtor who will work hard to find you your dream home without a doubt Karen Colburn is your Realtor. She made my home buying experience enjoyable. She can handle any problem. Karen sold my first home and handled every bump, and there were a few, with ease. Karen will always be my go to Realtor for the future. Beautiful, caring, smart, experienced Realtor."
